I think you need to reconsider your statements. There is a basic inconsistency in them.

You referred to 6 of my 8 favorites and suggested that 4 will not do well, but 2 will.

First, I have followed all very closely and I would not want to make a case that some valuations are significantly more reasonable than others.

Second, I think it is silly to think that the best semi companies will not sell product, but there will still be demand for the products of the best semi-equips. History is against that argument and it is joined by current valuations and current reported business.

Third, LLTC, MXIM, ALTR, and XLNX are unusual in that their product is sold into all technology markets. Granted, much of the bubble growth went to comm companies, but this revenue has shrunk considerably.
