I have a tech whiz nephew who , though only in his 40s is a millionaire, and has jumped companies 4 times for a better offer.One of his brothers has a Phd in Psychology, and a mere fraction of money of what his tech brother has--is this fair, no way, and the fact is tech talent is vastly over paid , they frankly are spoiled and the vast fortunes made on options by many in management while the public got screwed has no excuse, the dilution from options has been catastrophic(and is a MAJOR reason why tech stocks will fall farther) and only by making it an expense can the rank abuse be stopped.
The tech workforce culture "of i am available to the highest bidder" is part of what has been techs downfall.
Do you think companies will suffer if they can't use the boondoggle of options to gather talent.
Will the tech talents go on strike??? Ha!
