Well, look, you can talk about a Democrat who isn't Clinton, this is a landmark day in your life!

As for Gore, if you think I admire the man, you're wrong. I wish he'd go away, he's an embarrassing candidate, imo. On the other hand, since he did get more votes than your guy, maybe I should be less embarrassed.

You know those "Gore quotes," btw? Check this out:

"Dan Quayle has certainly made more than his share of misstatements, and most of the ones on the following list are actual Quayle quotes (although versions of this list with all the quotes mischievously attributed to Vice-President Al Gore and Texas governor George W. Bush also circulate around the Internet)."

snopes2.com

For example, the quote you offer, "I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was that I didn't study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those people," wasn't a Gore quote. It wasn't even a Quayle quote. It was a Quayle-spoof quote made up by a Republican Representative, Claudine Schneider of Rhode Island!

Next, I'll post the list of Quayle quotes. Look how many of them are on your falsely-attributed Gore list!
