I find it difficult to think that they could be this unbelievably stupid let's see...unwilling to recognize that doing nothing is leading to disaster, even as things unravel in front of their eyes...unwilling to give up an established policy when it doesn't seem to be working, because of the intellectual and emotional investment they have made in it...hoping that somehow things aren't as bad as they seem and will turn around soon... nah, you're right, smart folks could never do something like that... tb@wethepots.pov
