The up trend in the POG sure appears strong. Every time it looks like it is going to correct, it takes another step up the ladder. Gold was mentioned again in Barron's this week but only in an interview. The interview was with Price Headley and he sees the up trend in the POG lasting for several years. He is relatively bearish on the markets in general.

The GMI/POG ratio:

On 05/02, the Barron's GMI was 449.86 up from the previous week's 439.00. With the POG significantly at 310.45 (05/03), the ratio was up slightly at 1.45.

The ratio a year previously was 1.17.
