Carolyn, I do not support the terrorists either. I do not support running down a religion. You saw how infuriated people became when I made the remark about the Jewish. It did hurt a lot many people including you, even though you are not of that faith I presume. Similarly, the attacks of the terrorists on 9/11 is not a opportunity to go after a religion. Instead we should go after the concept of terrorism. There are terrorists everywhere around the world. At one time we had communists who were clandestine terrorists. We have the terrorists in Ireland.

Now amongst the terrorists, there are several types. You have the Palestinian terrorists. They were the ones that rejoiced in the streets of Palestine when the WTC was attacked. But surely they are not like the Osama and Saddam terrorists who have come into our own shores and have attacked us. They continue to follow us in the embassy bombings in Africa, the Cole bombing in Yemen and finally the WTC. That to me is war. On the Palestinian issue, it is a local issue. while I do not condone the terrorist bombings that Israel has been experiencing, I surely do not put it in the same category as the Osama and Saddam terrorists. These two along with the Taliban have wrecked havoc on humanity in general. They need to be eradicated first and then we deal with the Palestenian issue, not a Muslim issue.
