so why does one of the biggest BZH resort to a scam headline?

the headline:
Beazer Homes reports 49.1% increase in April orders (BZH)

the small print:
New orders for the month ended April 30, 2002 include orders for the full month from Crossmann Communities, Inc., which Beazer acquired effective April 17, 2002. On a pro forma basis, new orders for the month ended April 30, 2001 including Crossmann's orders would have been 1,694

so instead of up 49% orders were really down to 1621
granted that is only a 4% decrease but it is a tad different from a 49% increase
