RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 2002--Itronics Inc.
(OTC BB: ITRO) today reported that GOLD'n GRO fertilizer sales by its
subsidiary, Itronics Metallurgical, Inc., increased 749 percent in
April 2002 compared to the same month in 2001. GOLD'n GRO fertilizer
sales for the first four months of 2002 are up 472 percent compared to
2001.
"The chelated liquid zinc micronutrient product, GOLD'n GRO zinc,
introduced last fall for the specialty agricultural market has gained
significant market acceptance and is leading the sales growth," said
