I recently watched The Great Dictator -- to me, that speech at the end was painful. I hate things to be spread so thick, but I know it's necessary for some.

The rest of the movie was very inspired, especially the scene when he danced with the globe, and when he climbed up the curtains. He had great physical wit.

I recommend watching the Marx Brothers' Duck Soup along with The Great Dictator -- also making fun of dictators and war, but with a much lighter touch.
