If one approaches it scientifically, with adequate knowledge (what a concept!) it works with no deleterious effects. Ask Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Regarding ozone depletion, the Greenhouse Effect, species extinction, etc. are the rantings of a statists, collectivists, alarmists, luddites, and PACs geared to the suppression and erosion of individual and property rights.
