BSV - Bright Star Ventures News Release

For Immediate Release:

Soil Sampling Completed on Koekoe Project

Mr. Jesse Chan is pleased to report the completion of the extensive Phase I soil sampling and geochemical analyses of the Company's Koekoe Project in Guinea, West Africa. The Koekoe Project encompasses an exploration permit covering 481 square kilometres in northeast Guinea. The local artisans have exploited hundreds of gold digging pits, scattered over the surface of the exploration permit. Many pits are still being used by local artisans using ancient gold extraction methods.

Samples were taken from three grids of approximately one square kilometre each. Three large anomalies and five smaller anomalies were outlined from the sampling. Soil samples were taken in lateritic type soil. Several of the most promising soil samples taken are as follows:

Grid Gold Value
Sodyanfe Grid 74.4 g/t
Koekoe Grid 21.34 g/t
23.02 g/t
45.84 g/t
Koekoe West Grid 28.76 g/t

Analytical results were completed by Intertek Testing, Guinea, a division of Bondar Clegg.

On behalf of the board of directors,

Eric Ascroft
Secretary
