Gottfried and threaders, We must remember that the institutions got into AMAT early this time and probably have been loading up when AMAT was down. The small investor may get in early run the price and then the instituiions exit. Remember those sharp drops.

I would like to see the thread discuss Moore's law in relation to the current .10 micron chip and the 300 wafer. How much smaller can we go with the semiconductors and how large will the be, 16 inches. What impact wil this have on AMAT? Will biogenetics come into play in that we can program cells? I am concerned whether we will run out of the ability to go to much smaller. You electrical/computer/ and biogenetic engineers would have a better idea than most on this site. Thoughts anyone?

Paul
