Amazon.com Insider Dalzell Files To Sell 200,000 Cmn Shares

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Amazon.com (NasdaqNM: AMZN - news) Inc. (AMZN) insider Richard L. Dalzell filed to sell 200,000 shares of the company's common stock, according to a Form 144 released Monday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Dalzell listed last Tuesday as the approximate sale date for the shares, which he valued at $3.4 million.

The filing listed Salomon Smith Barney as the broker for the sales.

Shares of Amazon.com , of Seattle, recently traded at $16.26, up 21 cents.

A Form 144 indicates an intention to sell restricted stock, but it isn't a commitment to do so.
