Dear Dave: The old HWP thread does not have to be posted to for it to remain. As long as you or someone has it bookmarked, it's still there. I have a few corporations bookmarked that no longer exist due to mergers or buy-out. When it's relevant, I go there for old news or other postings. Per your comment: "There were no new threads started when HP acquired Verifone or Apollo. I doubt you guys started new threads when CPQ acquired Tandem or DEC." Right. But HWP didn't change it's stock symbol nor did CPQ change their's when these companies were acquired. CPQ merged with HWP = HPQ. People at SI are free to post where they want or do not want. If you elect to stay at the old HWP thread, that's your own business, that's fine. Regards, Lynn
