>>>hoffy I am talking in general- this market is so bad right now that I really think that whatever can be bought today can be bought for LESS tomorrow<<<

I don't think that is true at all. Look at the new highs and new lows. New highs outnumber new lows by about 2 to 1 if you combine the NYSE and NASDAQ. Their are plenty of stocks that have been going up and have been continuing up. The biggies that people are used to play like JNPR JDSU CSCO AMZN YHOO AOL are dead. But the smaller plays have been doing fine. Look at a stock like TENT ANFI and many others. They break out and keep going up. TENT is up 100% in 2-3 months. SO is ANFI. Banks have been doing well along with Gold stocks, consumer stocks. It's definitely a different mind set than 2 or 3 years ago but there are still places to make money.
That being said I might start to lighten up on TENT. I think it can run more but I want to lock in some gains and will let the rest run. It's up a lot in the past few days and might be due for a pullback. Longer term I love it and will buy on any dips.
