The most significant development of late has been the broad realization that Wall Street isn't working for the investor but rather for themselves and in cahoots with corporate insiders and managers. I have been criticizing the Wall Street Investment Whorehouses, ANALysts, inbred and interlocking boards of directors and over-paid corporate management for the past few years. The results of the abrogation of the normal checks and balances on the financial institutions has been widespread corruption resulting, finally, in a loss of undue confidence by the investment public and institutional fund manager lemmings. While this new found awareness is small gratification, perhaps some honest remedy is near. I just hope that some of the charlatans who corrupted the system to their benefit wind up in jail rather than getting the typical white collar slap on the wrists and sending on their merry, and greatly enriched ways.
