Then why should you be medicated? No reason I can think of. You're living fine.

If Freddie's living fine (as well as feeling great,) and can keep it up instead of having the more usual hideous crash, and if his children (and others) aren't suffering, I can't think of a reason in the world he should take meds, either. As I said, I have no objection whatever to his living his mania and enjoying it to the fullest.

If he is phasic, and goes to the other extreme, I hope he'll take meds then instead of just "being himself," and that they will work, because at that point, he as well as his family will be suffering.
