Dave, Thanks for your full answer. I also agree to disagree in one more aspect. Multinational companies never have been and never will be "of one culture". It's just pure nonsense. I suspect this "corporate culture thing" is just a convenient catch all to explain away any adversarial "situations" instead of just dealing with individuals, which we ALL are... As far as HPQ in general, and whether, as you wrote, "this whole enterprise is going to sink" in particular, I would like to quote here an old Russian saying we'll live, we'll see...
