This is from a message on YAHOO:

"This week-end there were two major outages with 2 different tier 1 carriers - ATT and Qwest.

ATT suffered an OC48 fibre cut Saturday morning at around 2:30am and we were notified by their NOC immediately!

Qwest was having major problems with their BGP sessions.

Because of Internap's unique model, a problem in one Tier 1 carrier can be compensated for by moving the traffic to other carriers until the problem is resolved -automatically with no packet loss or latency.

It's built in automatic redundancy.

If your business relied on the Internet, wouldn't you want that? I guess Schwab, Google and others did!

I wouldn't loose any sleep about Internap losing customers. They are not losing customers to other providers because no one comes close to the value they provide. It's just companies going out of business.

I know of no other ISP that begins to offer this kind of proactive service. That's why Internap will prosper in the long run".

And I agree with that opinion about INAP.<g>

I have continued to buy at present levels and am still looking for it to get back to $5.<g>
