The Naz and S&P are oversold in the short term, from the point of view of my sentiment indicators. But the S&P indicator hasn't hit the panic level of 0 yet (it's at 26.5), and the S&P longer-term indicator is in the midrange (45.6). The Naz longer-term indicator is at 26.2 (oversold). Sometimes, the biggest drops can occur at the end of downtrends.

I don't know what the permabull argument was based on, besides emotion and wishful thinking.
