You see Jeff..let me explain something to you. Maybe your ego can't handle it but in fact one might deem yourself the one "looking like an idiot" basically in the sense that you actually think you have found the "simple answer to trading this market as some sort of "guru market predictor". For reasonable traders it is you Mr. Cleo who is coming here looking foolish only in the sense that you actually believe your arrogant market predicting ability. One would really have to have an ego the size of texas to come on a message board, proclaim other posters idiots, predict the market so arrogantly and act as if he is doing everyone a favor. Its these egos from all the posters here on SI that make you and others who think they are infallable market forecasters, that are so ridiculous and unnecessary.

You see theres a difference between yourself and lets say Zeev, who might come here and try and predict where the market may be goin, but on the otherhand will qualify his statements with admission that he may be wrong and its not for sure. But even for a technical analyst, such as you proclaim, one has to really use the charts to help guide himself in probablities to where the market is going. I am also a technical analyst and I would NEVER proclaim my analysis the end all and be all and then call all others questioning my calls, as some sort of fools. In fact you would have to be INSANE and an EGOMANIAC to do so. The fact is you, Jeff, nor I or anyone know where the market is going. We can only use charts to "guide" our trading. Its not the end all and be all of trading. But to come here and be so arrogant is really laughable and amateurish in thinking that you have found some sort of "black box". Its a disservice to other unknowing and unexperienced traders.
Again, I believe in reading charts as well, but please stop this arrogant bullshit posting about how you "know" where the market is going. Its really getting to be funny.
