I Have To Believe That We Have More To Go

Not much in the papers about the market being down this weekend.

Fund redemptions take time to work there way through. Last week equity fund flow was positive. I don't think that we have been seeing must J6P selling yet.

I think the most significant driver recently has been the breakdown in the clown buck. I would imagine that we are seeing some repatriation of foreign investments as well as some portfolio managers selling because they realize that AG just isn't going to be able to pump as much as he has been.

Having said all that these bear market rallies are ugly. They come from no where, with just about no warning, show no respect for resistance/support, or indicators of any kind for that matter, go on longer than seems possible and then depart as quickly as they arrived.

I'm starting to think that many of the sell side analysts have begun to actually believe their own bullsh!t. Perhaps not because it is intellectually compelling but because the implications of the alternative for them is unthinkable.
