excellant

The fact is you, Jeff, nor I or anyone know where the market is going.<<<

over the long history of US markets, markets have been a gamble, over the short history from the 90's low to the 2000 high (maybe you could draw it from the 82 low), they became a sure thing,

that indicates that markets are again a gamble and will be for a period of time, and that the public which became richly involved in the markets, will probably increasingly become dissenchanted with markets as they have during previous bear market periods.

it appears right now that the period during 2001 and early 2002 was a bear market consolidation of the parabola into the march 2001 lows.
