After the merger, how will HPQ.....

1. Be better PC maker/marketer/distributor than DELL?
2. Be a better high end UNIX server maker/integrator than SUNW or IBM?
3. Be a better low end PC server maker/distributor/marketer than DELL?
4. Be a better high end storage systems provider/integrator than EMC and IBM?
5. Be a better low end point product storage provider than NTAP and DELL?
6. Be a better full service hardware/service/support provider than IBM?

HPQ will still make fine printing and imaging products, but that will become a smaller percentage of revenues. They will continue to be the middle man (losing to IBM, EMC and SUNW in the high end, losing to DELL in the low end, and not as strong as IBM in the full, turnkey system area) which means over the long term they lose.
