"Run Capacitor" - I recently bought an electric motor on ebay from a dealer in Canada. on top of the motor sits something called a "Run Capacitor" -when i asked the seller what the gizmo was, he replied: "Hi - On top of the motor is a Run Capacitor - it reduces the Amp draw by about half - In other words, it reduces your electrical bill by half, when compared to a regular motor. Throughout NorthAmerica these motors are replacing the traditional ones because of energy consumption guidelines put forth by our (Canadien) government" hmm - is this an opportunity for investment? larry
