If you followed this thread I'm arguing for buying on a rising trend after a bottom has been put in. Those that are buying here in a downtrend are the ones using a crystalball. I'm saying it's worth losing a few points on the upward movement than trying to pick a bottom. Maybe Dan's buy of ORCL is a timely one. I'm just saying looking at the technicals and the fundies I disagree. Doesn't mean that either one of us is right or wrong until we see what the market gives us. Joe
