most SIers know you can't have multiple accounts and Poet is a very savvy poster

it was a prank and I know many people opened another account when SI offered the freebee and I'm sure they still have them

sometimes you calculate the risk and break the rules

E and I did all the time over the Hunger Site - we both agreed in private if we were caught SI had every right to slap our hands - actually it was fun trying to 'dodge' the rules, but we knew if we were found out we would have a consequence

the point is I think 15 days is too harsh

and I think it is ironic some TOU are enforced while others are not

too? this is a privately owned site with their own rules/TOU - if you don't like the rules don't join - if you can't follow the rules leave, don't threaten law suits

I'm surprised SI is foggy on this issue, it is setting up a poor precedent and as you said opening SI up to certain liabilities
