Oh Twister were are you hiding. We need somebody to defend MS in this article. The Whole Truth About Windows NT That's the truth about NT's future. Now I'd like to tell you the truth about NT today. Despite all its progress, despite all its recent design wins, Windows NT is not suitable for all applications. Sure, it's a great solution for workgroups and medium-scale networking, especially if you're using Windows 95 and Microsoft Office on your desktop machines. Sure it will eventually improve, as all Microsoft products improve over time. But right now, it's not the best answer for mission-critical applications (those that can't afford a crash). Or for highly scaled applications (those that start small but eventually grow very, very big --- I don't even beleive MS PR that NT is 98% reliable, it's probably way less. Mike
