It can happen to anybody. These worms/viruses are getting trickier and trickier. There was one that went around awhile that you could get just by downloading the e-mail! You didn't even have to open it. You might want to update your Internet Explorer/Outlook software since many viruses are taking advantage of security holes in older version. I believe the Klez worm is one of them. Here are a couple of links. If you haven't installed any service packs and you're running IE 5.5, you'll need do that first (I think), and then get the critical security update: microsoft.com microsoft.com
