The only flavor we see in the Fed policy statement is talking about the risk assessment over the "foreseeable future" rather than just over the period until the next policy meeting. The next Fed policy meeting is scheduled for June 25-26; funds futures market currently times the initial policy-turning tightening at the August 13 meeting. For now, the federal funds rate target remains at a 40 year low of 1.75% as the discount rate holds at 1.25%.
