Stephen, certainly a good question. Two things to consider; 1) changing standards are easier said then done and 2)the sky is still the cheapest and only long term solution.

I have never bought into the ADSL camp, it's to flash in the pan. This new HD2SL looks to be much more interesting and serves a much better functionality then ADSL. However, as it even stated in the article, getting the local exchanges to come off their hordes of cash will be another matter and it ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

While we are on this subject, Franklin has a totally new configuration of the Cyclone, whereby they can take incoming individual lines, and totally reconfigure it into a Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) or a Foreign Exchange Station (FXS) thus bypassing the T-1 charges+xtra line charges to the ISP or more appropriately the corporate customer.

This type of versatility built into the Cyclone is I believe what prompted Frank in saying that the Cyclone promises to be Franklins most successful product, ever.

When you read stories like what you posted, it only adds more credence to some of Franklins strategy and forward vision.

The story continues to only get better as time goes on. Remember don't bet on who wins the war, only on who supplies the munitions.
