Louis - Unfortunately I interpret this clever salesman's campaign somewhat differently. Suppose he recognizes that your point 2) is happening. In addition he doesn't think digital TV is close. It seems like only in this case would he make the offer which allows him to sell current TV's and indemnify customers against risk of digital TV in next 5 years. It seems to me he would only make the offer if digital TV is 4-5 years away. Certainly not 1-2 years. Right? Tom
