Nah, the average J6P, the popular media and most retail brokers couldn't care less about the dog. Guarantee you they know all about Mackie D's, though....(which has about the same market cap as the entire worldwide gold mining industry, BTW...)

Mackie D's is a great institution, hopefully they'll prosper the next 40 years or so, the better to provide boomers with employment during their "golden years"....
