the Fed is in a box
real interest rates remain pitifully low, near zero
almost no incentive for bond holders to stay in bonds
why?
no return on investment after inflation
historically such low real rates have pushed GOLD
the longer the real rates are near zero, the more GOLD is pushed

real rates have been near zero since October 2001
that is 7 months
