There are several litmus tests besides "is it legal?"

For instance, is it in the best interests of the American economy in general for corporations to set up cardboard HQ in Bermuda to avoid "fair taxation?"

No.

Is it unpatriotic of businesses to flee the shores of America?

Yes.

Should businesses that move to Bermuda or the Cayman Islands be slapped with "Benedict Arnold" tariffs (my term)?

Absolutely.

Is fleeing the shores of America to avoid taxation a big issue with voters?

Yes. I provided documentation of such yesterday.

Get off the "Is it legal?" schtick and start asking yourself an even more important question: "Is it right?"

Re: flat tax for individuals. Let's try it with businesses first.
