CSCO's positive earnings, and the reaction to it, could signal at least a short term tech rally. It would be interesting to note how much of CSCO's earnings came from their cash hoard. Some techs, CSCO, MSFT, INTC, have HUGE cash hoards, while others are staggering in debt. there will be plums for the picking, laying the groundwork for large future gains when techs turn. I believe ORCL has a significant cash hoard too (yahoo profile says 5 billion). larry
