Are you saying that Intel's yields and/or bin splits did not go straight to hell along with the introduction of infamous notched gate?

"World Class Yields" are clearly defineable and AMD clearly fell way short.

AMD may have lied on this issue. Another explanation (that fits the "World Class Yields" claim) is that the Tbred design itself was botched. Or perhaps the bin splits were simply extremely poor (which could also be an indication of a poor processor design).

Yields could be just fine and dandy, but if what you're yielding is garbage…
