So the tape has spoken! A dollar after hours PROVES that CSCO report was good right? Efficient markets and all that! Did the market have it wrong when CSCO stock was in the stratosphere? Or does it have it wrong now? If the tape never lies, what is the point in buying stock anyway. If everything is factored in then stocks will go nowhere, we might as well close the markets. Truth is, most of the money in the markets hasn't got a clue what is going on. Most of it doesn't care that CSCO has written off inventory God knows how many quarters in a row and is now selling that inventory - booking revs to the top line without accounting for the cost of producing the goods sold. OK, you stick to your money losing theories and I will carry on doing things the way I do things. Sounds good to me.
