Lynch, Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the company to pursue new career opportunities. The company also announced the promotion of Bradley R. Scates, Controller, to the position of Vice President, Finance. Scates will assume Mr. Lynch's duties until a new CFO is named and will report directly to W. Scott Harkonen, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of InterMune.
