Jim, re: Barton Biggs Well, which is it? He wasn't sure. Seemed to think days or weeks, but said it could be months. Then again, old Barton was a consistent bear through the best bull market in history, not the greatest track record. The good news about being a consistent stock market prognosticator, is that eventually you will be right, if you don't die first. The references to 1929, they almost always start at a market bottom, BTW. John
