One can make a case that Israel was attacked by its Arab neighbors in 1948. One can make a counter-argument that it was merely the continuation of the war Israel had already been waging on Arabs for at least 6 months. Regardless, this war ended quickly and decisively in favor of Israel.

In 1956, Israel attacked & invaded Egypt.

In 1967, Israel attacked & invaded Egypt.

In 1982, Israel attacked & invaded Lebanon.
