Oh geeze, I was mugged, had my house, studio, car, broken into so many times I lost count. So did my friends. It got old after a while. The crime dropped significantly in the city after I moved my residence way out to the country nine years ago (but my house out there was broken into as well). I still have my studio in the city and nothing has happened to me for quite a few years. The improvement in the economy and having crack sort of run its course helped with the crime rate. We also have a special security force in this neighborhood which has also helped with petty crime.
