"The Occidental well has no implication whatsoever re ELH."

I disagree. If deep gas exists for many miles along the I-5 corridor, then the overall play is much larger than just ELH. I realize Oxy isn't in ELH. The success of Oxy, however, could generate greater interest in the companies who are buying acreage and exploring for this deep temblor gas throughout California. Hopefully, that will spill over into their stock prices.

My other comment about "netting" was intended for ELH and had nothing to do with Oxy. If I was operator of ELH, there would be no netting - either pay-up or your out is typical. In fact, I would cash call everybody before work commenced.
