lol...that's funny...

my sitch wasn't quite so humorous...

i was working late (around midnight) with an accountant who was helping set up a new business software program....i had left the electronic gate open to the property, and the cop who was on patrol thought something didn't look right....

i had also left my office doors unlocked....(stupidly) but hey, we were engrossed in what we were doing....i look up and see this guy with a pistol pointed at me and he asks...."who are you and why are you here?"

i said "excuse me"? "i own this place". then he proceeded to tell us both to come out of the office and stand in the lobby...two women in their 40's....he gets on his radio and asks for "back up"....i said 'look officer' i appreciate your diligence, but you're making a mistake...this is MY property and YOU are trespassing...
"

the really scary thing is ....i have a gun....hidden....thankfully i didn't have it on me....who knows....something tells me that guy was a bit trigger happy...

ultimately i produced my driver's license, i gave him some "security" codes about the building....and he left.

no matter what anyone says....it's a very discomfiting sensation to have a gun pointed at you...no matter who is doing the pointing.
