Bill.
I invented T.A. when I was 15 and found out later that some other guys invented it a decade or five before me.
Have learned to count to five and have the guidance of Elliotte how to implement that knowledge. The stock market is in the (3) just before last stage of the final (5) stage of the (5) final stage of the (5) final stage of its rise.
Elliote count is not alone. More storm warning are all over the place. KO and G for example- every big bull has its fashions. The fashionable stocks stay overpriced for a long time until everybody thinks this is how it should be. When nobody cries "wolf" anymore, then it's time. Donno about MSFT cause I cried "wolf" myself around $95 and after the minnimal correction to 88 it shot back up. It amazes me how a sw co. like MSFT can trade this high. It would take till Mr. Gates retire to earn enough money to justify current rates.
But this is beside the point (I just don't like it when mediocre products prevail over better ones just by having superior marketing).
The point is the current spike (starting from the end of march correction) is too steep to hold much longer. Download a three years graph of S&P 500 and if you can also a 25 years graph of DJIA or S&P and I'll show you in detail how this wave is just about going to ...(rimes with splash).
Arik.
