You mean, the same way it was reported that the Israelis had massacred hundreds of innocent civilians in Jenin? The IDF brought in the armored buldozers after they lost those soldiers to crush the booby trapped buildings. Is that what you mean by a rampage? They were only going in on foot in the first place instead of bombing from 30,000 feet, as we would have, because the IDF does not target non-combatants the way Hamas and Fatah do. They were only going into Jenin at all in response to the 28 suicide-bomb attacks that had originated in Jenin refugee 'camp'.

Shimon Peres btw, like 90% of Israeli Jews, is solidly behind Operation Defensive Shield. It's hard to get any country so fractious as Israel to all pull together, but Arafat managed the trick.

I just cannot adjust to the newspeak of the left. I keep thinking that terrorism is a strategic choice to kill random civilians for political gains. But I am given to understand that if Israel uses force even against armed and shooting combatants, that is "terrorism", while Palestinian use of force against totally civilian targets, such as a snooker hall in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, is "frustration" and "freedom fighting". Perhaps you could explain this definition to me?
