IMHO, the bonds tanking is not good for the dollar either. All of the foreign bagholders will see the disappearance of their principle and begin to sell their holdings. We'll know that we are at top in interest rates when the Japanese unload since they have an uncanny ability to sell at the bottom and buy at the top. This also implies further improvement in the POG but not so much for the South African miners whose stock prices have vastly benefited by the declining Rand.
