That's a great story about "turtle relocating"! Thanks for posting it.

Up my way, some people have set up a couple of "frog cross-walks" which they maintain for a few days each year. This saves hundreds of frogs as it is in an area of massive migration where literally dozens of frogs would meet their Waterloo each day. People in the area know about the cross-walk and don't mind stopping while the volunteers clear the road of frogs. Obviously, this couldn't be done on a very busy highway, but luckily we still have plenty of roads where it's still possible.
