Alien: Appreciate that I don't follow any one analyst/firm/brokerage. It always seemed a little risky to listen to someone who had a position in a stock. And since they could be trying to position to buy or sell, I probably look at it in a contrarian way. Collectively I look at what all the analysts are saying, and if there are enough Strong Buys for the group, it adds some weight. Individually I treat them as noise - and that is just because I can't take the time to figure out who is right most of the time. Besides, whoever it is will probably change companies if I finally got around to trusting one. The caveat I offer is to "never take financial advice from someone who has to work for a living". Including me. Know your own skill level, trust the ticker, and trade to your risk level. And do it with as little emotion as possible. After all, its only money.
