PnF followers use BP's all the time.
it's actually pretty tough to calculate BP's on your own because it requires a pnf "charting" engine.

stockcharts.com has some sector BP's but they use S&P's sector list tho.
17 is actually too small to make a reasonable BP.
dorseywright.com (DWA) has carried BP's for a long time.
there's been a lot of talk here on the various SI PNF threads about BPSEMI.

currently "BPSOX" would be 13.3% (2/15)
MOT and AMAT are on pnf Buy signals.

DWA subscribers can add tickers to a portfolio list, and one of the things it'll summarize is the BP.
